Found- ed in 1940 by the Christian Brothers, the private, comprehensive, four- year Catholic college enrolls approxi- mately 4,000 undergraduate and


graduate students from diverse back- grounds and 43 countries. Centrally located in Westchester County between the economic cen- ters of New York City and Fairfield County, Connecticut, Iona students have easy access to internship op- portunities in all career fields, and the majority of students complete at least one. Many also participate in Mission & Ministry’s local service projects or week-long trips. Ninety-three percent of Iona graduates are employed or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation.


Academics and career pathways


Iona College offers more than 60 combined programs of study in the School of Arts & Science and the School of Business. With a student- faculty ratio of 16:1, all classes are taught by professors. Our faculty

The Iona Honors Program offers specially designed courses, opportu- nities to conduct independent re- search, a professional mentoring pro- gram, and 24 tuition-free credits over the course of four years. Iona also offers eight dual-degree programs where you can earn both a bache- lor’s and master’s degree in five years. Programs are available in Chemis- try, Computer Science, Criminal Jus- tice, Economics, Media and Strate- gic Communication, Mathematics, Psychology, and a Fast-Track MBA. Joint-degree programs are offered with Lake Eerie College of Osteopath- ic Medicine (LECOM) in Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy and with
