he University of Evansville Students at the University of Evansville shape powerful and enduring change. UE is the first univer- sity in Indiana to be designated as an Ashoka U Changemaker Campus, and its change-making culture empowers students to improve the world around them as #UEChangemakers. With over 80 majors and more than 100 areas of study in the arts and sciences and pre- professional programs, UE’s diverse stu- dent body represents 45 states and 57 countries. U.S. News & World Report rec- ognizes UE as the #7 “Best College in the Midwest” among private schools and one of the top 10 “best value” schools in the Midwest.

Transfer and transform UE’s transfer admission counselor per- sonally guides each student through the transfer process. Each application is reviewed individually for admission and scholarship consideration. Every admitted transfer student is automatically awarded a UE merit scholarship, which currently ranges from $15,000–$20,000 per year based

solely on academics. Phi Theta Kappa members earn a minimum $17,000- per-year scholarship. Need-based fi- nancial aid eligibility is determined by the FAFSA (code: 001795). The trans- fer admission counselor will walk each student through their financial aid package, which includes all scholar- ships, grants, and loans available to the student. Every college transcript is evaluated individually to determine how credits can transfer toward the student’s UE degree program. Transfer students are encouraged to visit campus to meet one-on-one with their admission coun- selor, professors in their field of study, career advisors, and current students. This is the best way to see if UE is the right fit for you. Once a student has made the decision to attend UE, they will work with a faculty advisor in their major to register for classes and build a graduation plan.
