Approximately 99% of international students receive some sort of merit-based financial aid through scholarships, grants, and work opportunities, making a Caldwell education affordable. And with 98% of recent grad- uates employed, attending graduate school, or participating in service programs, it is clear that the University delivers. Student life Caldwell University enrolls approximately 2,300 full-time, part-time, and graduate students. Fully qualified faculty members, small class sizes, and a 13:1 student-faculty ratio provide close, personal attention. Almost half of full-time undergraduate students live on campus. Single, double, and a few quad rooms are available. Student housing options include Dominican Hall, a 200-bed apart- ment-style residence with state-of-the-art ame- nities, modern suites, kitchens, and Wi-Fi.


International Student Services: The Office of International Student Services advises international students on compliance with immigration laws and regulations, provides support in cultural and social adjustment, and assists student, administrative, and academic groups in their initiatives to nurture and grow international programs.


International Student Budget (2023–2024): • Tuition: $37,352 • Room & Board: $13,800 • Student Fees: $2,310 • Health Insurance: $1,000 • International Student Orientation (one-time fee): $280 • Total: $54,742


Financial Aid: International students are automatically considered for merit scholarships when they apply for admission. Academic scholarships range from $8,000 to full tuition, and scholarships for students with significant involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, and leadership range from $1,000–$5,000. Need-based financial aid is not available for international students.


Test Score Requirements: Caldwell now offers test-optional admission; however, international students are still required to show proof of English proficiency by submitting any of the following test scores: TOEFL (70), IELTS (6.0), PTE Academic (48), SAT (490 in EBRW section), ACT (18 in English section), or ELS Level 112 certificate of completion.


Application Deadlines and Fees: There are specific deadlines for international students applying for F-1 nonimmigrant status. • Recommended spring deadline: December 1 • Recommended fall deadline: June 1
