T

he founders of Hillsdale College set out to provide “a literary, scientific, [and] theolog- ical education” combined with “such moral

and social instruction [that] will best develop the minds and improve the hearts of its pupils.” Through our rigorous core curriculum, you’ll study the great ideas and thinkers that have defined Western Civilization from ancient times to the present. You’ll strengthen your faith as you en- gage in respectful dialogue with students of other faith traditions and participate in student-led reli- gious services and activities. You’ll shape your character through our vast array of student life organizations and community volunteer opportu- nities. You’ll find that the education you receive at Hillsdale gives you the freedom to pursue a mul- titude of paths after graduation. Hillsdale equips you not only to lead but to live a good life in your home, your workplace, and your community.

Our location Nestled in the rolling hills of rural south-central Michigan near the Indiana and Ohio state bor- ders, downtown Hillsdale is just a short walk from campus and offers many unique small-town shops and restaurants.
