An international perspective Emerson students and faculty come from more than 70 countries. Our Office of International Student Affairs organizes a special international orientation program at the start of every semester and provides assistance with immigration and visa concerns as well as adjustment to life in the United States. These activities are supplemented by several student associations such as Amigos (Latino student organization), Asian Students for Intercultural Awareness (ASIA), and EI: Emerson International—an organization dedicated to mak- ing international students feel at ease on campus by providing a link to members of their country as well as those from different cultural backgrounds.
