ethel University offers more than 100 areas of study and dozens of cocurricu- lar options so students can take ad-
vantage of hands-on learning opportunities in their chosen fields. With a 12:1 student-faculty ratio, students get the individualized guidance they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Known for academic excellence, Bethel University has an overarching mission of grad- uating individuals whose academic preparation, spiritual maturity, and broad Christian vision give them exceptional potential for leadership and service. Bethel seeks to integrate faith and learning in all of its programs, challenging stu- dents to grow academically, socially, and spiritu- ally in a distinctive Christian environment. The University has a strong academic program with supportive and expert faculty to prepare stu- dents for successful careers or graduate study. Outside the classroom, Bethel offers excit- ing campus activities, valuable mentorship opportunities, excellent music performance groups, championship varsity and intramural sports, and a wide variety of student clubs and organizations. The University has adopted a “test-optional” admission policy, meaning pro- spective students with a GPA of 3.2 or higher
aren’t required to submit ACT or SAT scores when they apply. If a student chooses not to submit test scores, Bethel will use their GPA to gauge academic achievement and essay questions to determine whether that student is a good fit for Bethel’s faith-centered learning environment; both are important factors in se- lecting students who are likely to be successful at Bethel. The University’s application process is more streamlined than ever since students can apply using the Common Application, which fills out the bulk of their information if they’re using the app to apply to multiple universities across the country. And once students are accepted to Bethel, their education will be affordable. The University is dedicated to helping students make the most out of scholarships, grants, and loans—so college expenses don’t stand in the way of earning a degree. Bethel wants to prepare students for success after gradua- tion. That includes making tuition costs more manageable, especially since 99% of incoming students receive financial aid.
