Learning for life, transforming the world A
t Messiah University, your life, faith, world, and possibilities open up. Each student brings a valuable perspective
that’s celebrated, appreciated, and allowed to remain distinct. In the grace of our shared love of Christ—and in our worship, study, and ser- vice—we combine our individual contributions into a community that’s more beautiful together, like a strong and vibrant stained glass window. And the insight born in everyone is the light that shines through. Together, we see anew.
Grow your faith From the first day you step on campus to your last, we hope your time at Messiah is a time of growth—both spiritually and academically— and a time where you’ll learn to explore and deepen your core convictions and Christian beliefs. The Office of Campus Ministries coor- dinates many programs and resources to help you take the next step in your faith journey at Messiah.
Service opportunities The University is committed to equipping you for a life of service, and there are plenty of opportunities to hone your passion for service during your time here. Each year, Messiah stu- dents collectively volunteer thousands of hours to community service—locally, nationally, and around the globe. The University’s Agapé Cen- ter for Service and Learning is the coordinating hub for service organizations and opportunities both on and off campus.

“ I chose the Biochemistry major at Messiah based off the program’s integration of faith with the field of science. The physical world that chemistry and other sciences study and the spiritual components of Christian faith are intertwined in the education you receive here.”
— Joel Rhinehart ’22
“ I love Messiah because it has a warm and friendly Christ-centered community. It’s a great place to learn and create strong and lasting relationships.”
— Clara Haubold ’21
