Dover, Delaware
Offering a unique blend of past, present, and future
W
alk on Delaware State University’s 356-acre campus and you will see centuries-old buildings. At the same
time, you will find some of the country’s most skilled researchers discovering new innova- tions in the fields of medicine, military defense, agriculture, and much more. DSU currently offers 46 undergraduate degree options, an impressive number for a school our size. We welcome students from a variety of back- grounds, with our current enrollment standing at 5,649—86% of whom are undergraduate students. Our male-to-female student ratio is 33:67, and 77% of our freshmen live on cam- pus in one of our eight residence halls. DSU’s main campus is in the historic city of Dover, the capital of Delaware. Arguably one of the best- kept secrets on the East Coast, Dover provides a small-town feel for students who want to learn without the distractions of an urban campus. Yet we’re only an hour and a half from major cities—including Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, DC—and a short drive to popular Rehoboth and Ocean City beaches. Our stu- dents truly enjoy the best of both worlds.
