• A 13:1 student-faculty ratio and an average class size of 16 students ensure you’re seen, heard, and engaged.


• Students can earn a $2,000 stipend for expe- riential learning.


• Spend a semester immersed in the sciences out in the field with our Environmental Science Semester. You’ll travel across two countries, two states, and six Maine islands, gathering and interpreting data from field sites.


• We have 21 NCAA Division III athletic teams.


Transfer scholarships It’s our goal to keep Saint Joseph’s College within reach for every student who qualifies and wants to attend. In fact, over 96% of all SJC students receive some form of financial aid, with an average aid package of $31,119. SJC offers a robust Merit Scholarship pro- gram that bases gift awards on a student’s level of academic achievement. Merit Scholarships range from $5,500–$20,000 per year. If you’re applying for full-time enrollment in a degree program for the fall semester, you’ll be consid- ered for scholarship assistance.
