Academic excellence


Students can choose from more than 60 majors in the liberal arts, sciences, and business, com- pleting a rich core curriculum that spans liter- ature, history, science, theology, philosophy, and the arts. Special offerings include honors programs, research symposia, study abroad, dual-degree programs with Fordham’s grad- uate schools, and pre-professional programs in Law, Medicine, and other health professions.

Transferring to Fordham Deadlines


• November 1 for spring transfer students • June 1 for fall transfer students


Student requirements • Common Application and essay • All college transcripts; minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA recommended • High school transcript • Transfer college report or letter of good standing


Credit policy Fordham normally accepts up to 60 transfer credits from appropriately accredited institu- tions. In order to be transferable, a course must carry three or more credits and be equivalent to a course offered at Fordham; course de- scriptions must be submitted. Only courses in which a student has earned a C or better will be accepted.
