Chicago, Illinois NEIU is for you Y

ou’ve come this far—now continue the journey and earn your degree from Northeastern Illinois University, where

opportunities are limitless both near and far. At NEIU, we break barriers.

One of the most ethnically diverse universi-

ties in the nation, Northeastern offers an afford- able, quality education with 70+ undergraduate and graduate programs in the Arts & Sciences, Education, and Business, plus extremely com- petitive tuition rates guaranteed for four consec- utive years. Students from neighboring states pay in-state tuition, as do active-duty military students, veterans, and their spouses and de- pendents. We’ll help you identify grants, schol- arships, employment, and loans so when you graduate, you’re counting the money you earn, not the money you owe. In addition to our Main Campus in the North

Park neighborhood of Chicago, we also have locations in the Avondale and Bronzeville neigh- borhoods and Grayslake, Illinois. Northeastern offers classes on weekdays, evenings, week- ends, and online, allowing students to strike a balance between work, school, and life.

Your transition Northeastern’s Transfer Center will guide you every step of the way in making the transition from your prior college(s). We are your gate- way to the many resources available to you as a new student. Start with an easy applica- tion process and an explanation of how your credits will transfer. We’ll put you in contact with our Financial Aid Office to help identify resources to pay for school. From there, our orientation programs aim to support your tran- sition to NEIU and help build your foundation for academic success.

Northeastern accepts transfer credits from regionally accredited institutions. The maximum number of transferable credits is 90 semester hours from four-year institutions and 64 semes- ter hours from community colleges.
